1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms govern your use of the ProClubs World Discord bot and its Discord-connected features. By installing, authorizing, configuring, or using the Bot, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a server, team, league, tournament, partner, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it.
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement and the minimum age required by law in your country. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Bot and remove it from any server you control.
2. What the Bot provides
The Bot connects Discord with ProClubs World. Depending on configuration and permissions, it can provide account linking, tournament and league commands, registrations, support tickets, news following, competition posts and graphics, fixtures, results, standings, lineups, transfers, calendar reminders and availability checks, direct messages, and requested channel or role management.
Some features require a ProClubs World account, a linked Discord account, participation in a team or competition, or administrator approval. Feature access may differ between servers and may change as the service develops.
3. Permissions and server administrators
The person installing or configuring the Bot must have the required Discord and ProClubs World authority. Server administrators are responsible for choosing appropriate channels, roles, mentions, automations, and access settings; informing their members about enabled features; and removing access from people who should no longer have it.
Only grant the Bot permissions needed for the features you enable. You may revoke permissions or remove the Bot through Discord, but doing so may stop features or leave scheduled work undelivered.
4. Acceptable use
You must use the Bot lawfully, respectfully, and consistently with Discord's rules and applicable ProClubs World competition rules. You must not:
- Harass others, submit illegal or infringing material, impersonate another person, or use the Bot to facilitate cheating, fraud, threats, or abuse.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, exploit vulnerabilities, automate abusive requests, or attempt to obtain credentials or tokens.
- Use commands, server controls, registrations, interactions, or administrative features without authorization or provide false or misleading information.
- Scrape, sell, profile, advertise with, or otherwise misuse Discord data or Bot output.
5. Content and competition decisions
You remain responsible for content and information you submit through commands, forms, tickets, or ProClubs World. You must have the rights and permissions needed for the Bot to process and post that content. You grant ProClubs World a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and transmit it only as needed to operate, secure, and support the Bot.
Bot messages, graphics, reminders, statistics, and registration responses may depend on server configuration or ProClubs World records. They are operational aids, not a guarantee of eligibility, scheduling, results, rankings, or an administrator's final competition decision. The applicable competition rules and authorized administrators control those decisions.
6. Availability, changes, and enforcement
The Bot is provided on an as-available basis. We may add, change, limit, pause, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, platform, or operational reasons. Discord outages, permission changes, rate limits, server settings, and third-party failures can delay or prevent delivery.
We may restrict commands, block a server, suspend linked access, remove content, or end access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, comply with law or Discord requirements, investigate misuse, or enforce these Terms. Server administrators may remove the Bot at any time.
7. Discord and other third parties
The Bot depends on Discord and may link to ProClubs World pages or other third-party services. Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's own Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, privacy policy, permissions, and availability. These Terms do not replace Discord's terms.
ProClubs World and the Bot are independent community services and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Electronic Arts or Discord. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bot is provided without warranties that it will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. Always confirm time-sensitive fixtures, results, registrations, and administrator actions through the appropriate official competition surface.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProClubs World is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the Bot, Discord actions or outages, lost messages, permission changes, or unauthorized server configuration. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Privacy, changes, and contact
The Bot Privacy Policy explains how Discord-connected data is processed and how to request deletion. We may update these Terms when the Bot, Discord requirements, or applicable law changes. The effective date above identifies the current version; continued use after an update means the updated Terms apply where permitted by law.
